I am so relieved you are now in hospital - although it's not where you want to be I'm sure. You really did look so poorly over the weekend - I think we were all worried about you and hopefully something can now be done about your poor feet.

It was brilliant to meet you both but I'm just so sorry you were so unwell and then to have a bump on the way home must have been the last straw. I'm e-mailing you later.

I've packed the wheeled commode and sent Kathleen out for some extra thick long rope (she's good with rope - it reminds her of the snake). Mary is on the way down to suss out the talent and Amanda is busy packing crates of wine. Jenni is pulling on her red boots as I type and MH is harnessed to L's wheelchair and raring to go. See you shortly.

Much love

Hi Barbara

So sorry to hear you are in hospital but it sounds as if you've had a very rough time recently. Here's hoping they can come up with some helpful treatment/meds to restore you to better health.
Sending you my best for a speedy solution (before you get sprung!)

Hugs
Beth

Huh Hmmmmm do you think with the dishy junior docs Barbara will want rescuing?

I think I might have to tag along with the rescue party..... just to check things out for myself....

Then we'll all be scrambling for a bed Razz

Gutted to hear about your car, but glad you and Chris weren't hurt... What is your vintage car? Phil and I renovated a Corvette a few years back... It was his dream car from when he was 8 and his Mum got him a Corgi toy car

Dear Barbara,

I am so sorry that you have had to go into hospital but glad that you are there as you obviously are in need of help. At least you seem to have a nice room and it is good that you have an ensuite. Have they come up with a treatment plan yet?

So sorry about your car but relieved that you were not hurt.

As for the rescue, I am wondering if we could break in rather than you break out? I see that Doreen has much the same idea. However, Jean has decorated the commode, Kathleen has got out the snake for diversion reasons. Jenni and Bernice are at the ready and Doreen is on her way. Mary is also on route from Wales and Julie is donning her green flimsy dress: she will scale the walls to your room without a problem. Do not let Lyn trim your hair!!!!!

Lots of love, thinking of you,

Eleanor x

Dear Barbara,

It was lovely to meet you and Chris at the weekend. And I'm sorry to hear about your car, at least you're both OK after it.

I hope they get on top of your current problem soon and that you can be hospital free for a little while.

My thoughts are with you!

HUGS

Jo.

PS Thanks for the lovely sweets!! :D

Crikey Barbara - you don't do things by halves do you? Sorry that the bump to you car spoilt your lovely day but I'm so glad you are getting some proper attention at last. Thinking of you and hoping the imprisonment is not too bad. If your are in too long and need someone to scale the walls to assist in the breakout - I'm your girl for the job.

Can someone help?? I was going to visit Barbara and my arms were full of wine bottles, I have been stopped by security and am waiting to be released.

This really is so silly, I was going to drink two bottles and leave Barbara with the other four.

Love,

Amanda

Hi Barbara

Sorry to hear you're so poorly, but glad you're managing to maintain your sense of humour! Hope the stay in hospital goes well and you get the treatment you need.

What rotten luck about the car, I'd be gutted as well.

Amanda, only two of the bottles were meant for you? I don't think I believe you BigGrin

Hi Barbara

I am so pleased that you are now receiving some care for the problems. Been thinking about you since the weekend and hoping that something positive would come from your appointment. And there you are ... super duper first class accommodation with all the trimmings! Hope they get a care plan and some treatment sorted for you quickly. Don't be in too much of a hurry to leave though, for now you are in the right place Smile

It was lovely to meet you and Chris at the weekend and I'm so glad you did join us despite your ongoing problems. Wish we'd had longer to chat; the time seemed to fly by. I meant to ask you for your email address (along with a few others!) so that we could keep in touch but completely forgot. My brain seems to get into a fog these days and I appear to be getting increasingly forgetful, but perhaps that's just age catching up with me!!

Thank you to you both for giving me a lift to the station. It meant I was able to catch an earlier train, getting me home over an hour sooner than planned. So sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident; do hope there wasn't too much damage to your car and it can be easily repaired. What a shame though, why don't folk watch where they're going? That's the general idea isn't it?

I do love Eleanor's idea about breaking in ... think that makes a lot more sense than breaking you out at the moment! If you'd only said you wanted a quick haircut I could have done it in Leicester, ready for 'wowing' all those scrummy docs. Could easily have borrowed scissors from the kitchen Scared Perhaps I should wait 'til your sedated by Amanda's wine altho' the speed she's drinking it there will be none left for you!

You are in my thoughts,

Lyn x

Huh

Hi Barbara,

I am pleased to learn that you are now "in detention" and that your poor feet are to receive the care they need.
It was good to meet you both at the weekend but sorry it ended with damage to your lovely car.

I am sure it will not be too long before you find yourself a gorgeous hunk to admire in the hospital. It appears that many of the Artherites are planning clandestine visits with bottles of the hard stuff - may they succeed!!

Keep smiling and try to keep posting. Love and best wishes.

Dear Barbara, hope this finds you now slowly improving and that by now you have located some hunky doctors to help the time pass quicker!
I'm sure the weekend was a real struggle for you but I'm so glad you did make it as it was SO lovely to meet you - wish we'd had more time though, can't wait to do it all again next time. You are one brave lady and I so hope this time will soon pass and you get some good treatment on the go.

So sorry about your car, hope damage can be repaired but you and Chris are both safe and that's what matters most of all.

& Thank you for the yummy sweeties on Saturday - they were amazing! Hope you've got some with you in there.

Keep smiling, keep posting and don't forget - laughter is the best medicine - on the radio today they said it was much better than going to the gym so that's a great excuse for staying in bed for a little while xxxxx
Now we will all have to find some jokes to keep you amused and laughing out loud as often as possible.

Take care, lots of love from Liz and a great big hug from Sophie xxxxx
